Our day is built around 45-minute academic blocks, balanced with outdoor breaks, lunch, life skills activities, and engaging electives.

With over 14 exciting electives to choose from, students can explore their interests and discover new passions.

Monday through Friday, 9:45 AM–3:30 PM, students complete their state-aligned, fully accredited core courses in a structured, supportive setting with guidance from Learning Coaches. The rest of the day is filled with creative projects, life skills, and enrichment activities that spark curiosity and build real-world skills.

Students complete their online, state-aligned courses with built-in support, including three daily 30–45 minute sessions with certified teachers for 1-on-1 or small group help. Our Learning Coaches provide guidance and encouragement, and every student receives a laptop and all necessary supplies at no extra cost.

That’s why our program can be paid for using state scholarships or through affordable monthly payment plans.

We walk parents through the entire scholarship process step by step, making it simple and stress-free so every family has access to high-quality learning.

For students who’ve struggled with behavior challenges like detention, ISS, or OSS, we provide a restorative, compassionate approach that helps them reset, rebuild, and re-engage with learning in a healthy way.

Students explore the world around them with interactive outdoor activities. We blend physical play with educational experiences that connect nature to learning. This service helps students stay active and engaged.

We believe education works best when families are involved. From regular check-ins and open houses to workshops and volunteer opportunities, we keep parents informed and involved in their child’s journey.

We get to know each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style to create a plan that works for them. Our personalized approach lets students move at a pace that builds confidence, sparks interest, and keeps them motivated while still challenging them to grow.

Students benefit from mentorship provided by learning coaches and opportunities to connect with community partners for additional guidance and growth.

Our learners complete their core courses through a nationally accredited, high-quality curriculum in three focused academic blocks—plus an elective of their choice—while we provide the in-person support, structure, and community they need to succeed.

Students have access to certified mental-health counselors, solution-focused therapy, wellness programming, and  IEP/504 accommodations

Learning doesn’t stop in the classroom! We take students beyond the walls with engaging field trips that connect academics to the real world. From STEM labs and cultural centers to art studios, local businesses, and nature experiences, our trips spark curiosity, build life skills, and inspire future goals.

We equip students with essential life and leadership skills—from communication and time management to financial literacy and entrepreneurship. These lessons help students become confident, responsible, and community-minded.

VMLC partners with local organizations, entrepreneurs, and cultural hubs to provide real-world learning experiences, guest speakers, and field trips that expand student perspectives and passions.
